Training is $700.00 per month with horses worked a minimum of 5 days per week and depending on specific need 7 days per week. All horse in the training program are handled 7 days per week. This fee includes daily feeding of grass hay twice daily and 1/2 pound of psyllium 7 days in a row monthly. We include two hours training with the owner at the conclusion of the training at no charge. Additional training will be billed at $45.00 per hour.
We also provide specialized or directed training with horse and/or riders who need help in specific issues which we charge at $45.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. We also charge a travel fee at the rate of $00.70 per mile portal-to-portal unless you are able to transport the horse to our facility.
Prior to any horse being admitted to our training program we require an evaluation be done to determine suitability and identify specific needs. We charge $70.00 and a travel charge from our facility to your's at $00.70 per mile portal-to portal. Should the horse be accepted into our training program the $70.00 evaluation fee will be a credit to the first month billing.
We offer open pasture boarding for $325.00 per month/per horse. Horses are kept in open cross fenced seasonally flood irrigated pastures. We also feed high quality grass hay twice daily year round. This fee includes a 7 day course of feeding of psyllium at the rate of one-half pound per horse 7 days in a row every 30 days in an effort to reduce sand colic.
If your horse requires to be stabled in a stall we have mare motel type stalls for an additional fee of $150.00 per month. This fee is waived for perhaps the occasional times when the horse needs to be stalled for a temporary illness treatment or the owner needs to keep the horse clean for an event the following day.
We can accomodate some trailers provided they are not exceptionally large for a fee of $25.00 per month.
We have a standing appointment with a professionally trained farrier every 8 weeks. You may choose to use our farrier or select your own. If you request that we stand by with the farrier during your absence, that is catch, prepare and stand with your horse with either our or your farrier we will do so for an additional fee of $25.00.
We have a standing vet ranch call generally in early to mid spring each year. The vet examines our horses, floats teeth as needed and vaccinates for rabies. You are welcome to have your horse seen by our vet at the same time. Should you request that we standby with your horse in your absence we will do so for an additional fee of $25.00.
Should you require that we put on and remove a "winter blanket" from your horse we will do so for an additional charge of $5.00 per day per horse.
We require that all horses on our facility be up-to-date on all basic "core vaccinations".
